Scuba Diving is a highly sought-after water activity globally, and the Andaman Islands are no exception. Alongside serene beaches and delicious seafood, diving draws a significant number of visitors to the Isles.

The coastal areas surrounding the Andamans boast a dense ecosystem of coral reefs, with most islands surrounded by expansive reef stretches, complemented by volcanic lava hills for a unique experience.

The untouched, vibrant corals host a variety of colorful marine life, creating a stunning underwater scene. Under the protection of the Andaman Administration, divers are surrounded by abundant and awe-inspiring corals and fish, making for an exceptional diving experience in India during your visit to the Andamans.

WHAT YOU GET TO EXPERINCE ?

In the Introductory Scuba Diving program, you'll have the chance to dive beneath the waves in the coral reefs, guided by your Divemaster. You just need to wear a diving suit – all the gear is provided for you. The program also covers basic on-shore training, focusing on safety and how to communicate underwater. It's a simple and exciting way to explore the underwater world!

Scuba Diving is done in 4 spots in Andaman Islands:

The overall time allocated for the activity is 90 minutes, with a specific segment dedicated to underwater diving lasting approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

SCUBA DIVING IN NORTH BAY ISLAND (CORAL REEF)

The overall time allocated for the activity is 60 minutes, with a specific segment dedicated to underwater diving lasting approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

SCUBA DIVING IN CHIDYATAPU (PORT BLAIR)

The overall time allocated for the activity is 90 minutes, with a specific segment dedicated to underwater diving lasting approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

FAQ

1. Do I need to know how to swim to participate in scuba diving?
   - No, swimming is not mandatory. Even if you are a swimmer, attempting to swim on your own during the dive is discouraged. Each participant is accompanied by a Dive Master who provides support throughout the dive.

 

2. Is scuba diving a safe activity?
   - Yes, it is a very safe activity. All our divers are professionally trained and certified by PADI (Australia) and SSI.

 

3. What is the age limit for scuba diving?
   - Anyone above 10 years of age can participate in scuba diving.

 

4. Are there any medical restrictions for scuba diving?
   - Yes, you need to fill out a medical declaration form, affirming your fitness for scuba diving. Pregnant women and individuals with ear infections are not allowed to dive.
